Palazzo Lante, located in via Monterone, 70, was built, perhaphs by Giuliano da Sangallo, from 1513 on for Pope Leo X. to host his brother Giuliano de Medici. But already in 1516, Giuliano died, and in 1558, the still unfinished palace and several adjacent buildings were acquired by Ludovico Lante. First and second floor have aedicula windows and are separated by fine profiles, the last mezzanine floor has quadratic windows. The courtyard loggias, visible on the photos, were later bricked up and converted to windows, but columns and capitals are still visible.
Frescoes by Giovanni Francesco Romanelli, dated 1653, are preserved in the salon.
